Very briefly

🚛 1. collect laptops

We collect unused laptops throughout Switzerland. We often receive these devices from companies that want to support something good in Switzerland and at the same time want the devices to be processed professionally and free of charge.

🧰 2. refurbish laptops

As soon as we receive the devices, they are cleared of any data: either by deleting or destroying the data carriers. This is done using certified processes and procedures. Laptops are also repaired here.

🎁 3. pass on laptops

Our devices go exclusively to people living in poverty in our country. As we do not know who is poor and who is not, we work together with many partners (e.g. social services). They order devices from us, which we then send all over Switzerland.

Now that a laptop has been delivered, our work is not quite finished. If help is needed, we are happy to help.

How is the work financed?

💸 No invoice is paid with thanks

We receive a small contribution towards expenses for every laptop handed in. These contributions make up around 90% of our income.

📖 Did you know?

More than every 500th person in Switzerland already has one of our laptops. But we are far from finished! Around 10% of our country is affected by poverty.
