Marketing the laptop cover

The laptop subscription may only be marketed using the flyers and other advertising materials provided. The flyer contains all necessary information.


Order process

1. check subscription authorisation

Persons who fulfil the following criteria are eligible:

- valid cultural licence
- No economic social assistance

Laptops for people on social welfare:

In principle, people are provided with economic social assistance via the responsible municipality or organisation. This demarcation serves to prevent double payments (e.g. Caritas and municipalities) or the assumption of costs by Caritas where municipalities would actually be responsible.

This restriction can be removed regionally so that those affected can still access a device. 

The target group therefore includes the following people in particular:
- Working Poors
- People at risk of poverty
- Persons with EL/IV benefits

2. Zahlung sicherstellen

wLw charges a fixed contribution towards expenses for each laptop, which is CHF 250.00 as standard (as of February 2026). Who pays these expenses is not relevant for wLw, but it must be ensured that the expenses can be paid before an order is placed.

Due to the various payment options in the Caritas stores, no payment method is defined here. It is important that Caritas has secured funding before the laptop is ordered.

wLw issues invoices for purchased laptops directly to the RCOs one week after dispatch.

Even if a recipient pays the expenses themselves, the RCOs are liable for the timely transfer.

4. handover / finalisation

wLw despatches devices every fortnight. The expected dispatch date is communicated when the order is placed.

The laptops are delivered in a package that contains a suitable charging cable as well as a flyer that points out the support options offered by wLw.

If several orders are placed in the same week for the same location, wLw will dispatch these devices together. In this case, all devices and charging cables are labelled accordingly so that allocation can be ensured.


Support for wLw devices

If there are any problems with a delivered laptop or if there are any actual defects, the client must always directly with wLw via the team's free Whatsapp support.
