The association

We are organised as an association and this consists of the following bodies:

Board of Directors
- Presidium
- Auditors
- General meeting

Our work is based on our statutes, which can be found here: Articles of Association

Board of Directors

The Executive Board is responsible for the strategic management of the association. The Board determines the fields of action of the Executive Committee, which can be understood as the extended arm of the Board.

Each board member shall be responsible for at least one portfolio. Non-distributed portfolios may also be transferred to the Executive Board, whereby the responsibility for the strategic goals of this portfolio nevertheless remains with the Executive Board.

The Board of Directors currently has the following constellation:

  • Dalia Bohn (Co-Presidency and Head of Marketing)
  • Anand Weber (Co-Presidency and Head of Finance and Compliance)
  • Mario Böhler (Member of the Board)
  • Chris Mühlebach ( Member of the Board)

Depending on demand, the board can be expanded to up to five persons.

Presidium

The Presidium may be carried either by one person or as a Co-Presidium. The Presidium shall be elected by the General Assembly.

The presidium of the association has no special rights, but bears the overall responsibility to ensure the strategic management of the association.

The Presidium convenes Board meetings and helps to bring about a final decision in the event of a tie.

Auditors

The auditors shall be responsible for auditing the accounts.

The auditors check all bookings for correctness and the vouchers for completeness.

The Auditors' Report shall be proposed at the General Meeting whether the accounts of the previous Association year are recommended for approval or rejection.

General Assembly

The general meeting (MV for short) is composed of the members of the association.

Members of the association are persons who are close to the association, have been involved for a long time or are employed by the association. The general meeting votes, for example, on the annual accounts and new budgets.

Persons who are directly affected by any decisions (e.g. in the case of compensation adjustments) must always stand aside.
