Every year, our charity provides laptops to thousands of households affected by poverty. This work has long since become too much for volunteers alone to manage. That is why we have an operational team of staff who are passionately committed to ensuring that everyone in Switzerland has access to digital opportunities.

We need your drive! 🫵

Our support team is currently quite small. We are looking for someone who, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a service-oriented approach, will go the extra mile to provide excellent support to our stakeholders.


📝 About the job itself

❗ First things first

  • 🔄 Workload: 40-100%
  • ⏰ Working hours: 37.5 hours per week for 100%
  • 💵 Wage: CHF 5,250 / 5,750 x 13 at 100%
  • 🏝️ Holidays: 5 weeks
  • 🏡 Place of work: Merenschwand / Working from home where possible
  • 🗓️ Start: by arrangement

📃 Your tasks

As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • 🎫 Handling enquiries via the ticketing system, email and telephone
  • 💻 First- and second-level support for laptop recipients
  • 🤝 Point of contact for our partner organisations and social services
  • 📋 Maintaining and updating data and knowledge articles
  • ✅ Adherence to quality assurance measures in this area

Ideally, we will find someone who would like to take on responsibility for the Support division (BV) as well as vocational training in this area in the medium term.


🔍 Requirements profile

Mandatory requirements
  • Basic training: EFZ qualification in one of these occupational profiles
    • Commercial Clerk (EFZ)
    • ICT Specialist (EFZ)
    • Customer Service Specialist (EFZ)
  • Language skills
    • German: at least C1 (written and spoken)
    • English: at least B2 (language)
    • French: at least A2 (language)
  • Sound PC application knowledge
A great advantage
  • Knowledge of how to use support and ticketing tools
  • Language skills above the minimum required level
  • In-depth knowledge of PC applications (various operating systems, etc.)

Career changers from other sectors are not eligible! 😶‍🌫️

We are clearly looking for someone with a business background, ideally with training in customer service. Working in direct contact with customers requires strong interpersonal skills and a good understanding of customers’ needs.
