How do I perform a hard shutdown?

Here you can find out how to carry out a hard shutdown:

  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
  • Remove your hand and wait 5 seconds
  • Press the power button once to restart the laptop.

This helps if the laptop is caught in sleep mode.
