We will continue where we have now started - but we will also dare to do something new!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Some key figures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since our establishment on 1 April 2020, we can now report the following achievements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>3,850 laptops distributed<\/li><li>5'100 Laptop received<\/li><li>Partnerships with over 600 municipalities<\/li><li>Partnerships with over 50 integration organisations<\/li><li>240% Self-supporting funding for full-time positions.<\/li><li>Over 4,500 hours of volunteer work.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These numbers are not easy to grasp even for ourselves. It would be even nicer to know what these laptops have made possible. We always receive lovely thank-you cards from the recipients, as well as from our partners. Without the many kind donors, however, none of this would have been possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">The next steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are starting the third year of our association with different goals. We want to continue to make gifts to many people and also relieve partners, but at the same time we also want to think further than just giving out laptops. Our goal this year is to realise a platform on which people can use e-learning offers free of charge, so that at least a minimum of knowledge about laptop operation can be created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, we will ask for further cooperation, especially in the operational area, which will relieve us in our work. We currently distribute around 40-50 laptops per week throughout Switzerland. This flood of parcels is difficult for us to manage and always requires the cooperation of volunteers. In addition, we have to make sure that we always have enough laptops at hand - and this is not always easy. You can be curious: the first trials are already underway. We will find out in the coming months which positions need to be filled - before that, the corresponding budget must be approved and the financing secured. Because it is important to us that we are allowed to grow in a healthy way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides our main work (refurbishing and sending laptops), we will also offer more opportunities to volunteer with us this year. For example, we held an event at the end of March where we refurbished laptops for Ukrainian refugees with many helpers - and that was probably not the last time we held such an event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Thank you for your help!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Last but not least, we would like to thank all of you who support our work every day.
