This page sets out the steps that still need to be taken beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparations by donors<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-accordion wp-block-hb-accordion\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>1. Please provide an approximate list of materials<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">We need to know the number of devices, as well as any accessories (e.g. charging cables). This information is used to plan the collection and to arrange for any empty containers to be exchanged, if necessary. <\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>2. Remove devices from IAM\/MDM systems<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\"><strong>Unless the data is exported from your internal systems, the devices cannot be used properly. <\/strong>The transfer may also be carried out after you have received our deletion documentation (i.e. after we have processed the data), but must then take place within one week.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>3. Remove UEFI\/BIOS passwords<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\"><strong>We are unable to process locked devices.<\/strong> You can also provide us with such passwords when making a donation, so that we can then remove them directly as part of our data processing.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens next?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just drop us a line once you\u2019ve got everything ready for the donation. We\u2019ll then coordinate the handover with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As soon as we have received the equipment, we will process it and <a href=\"https:\/\/wir-lernen-weiter.ch\/en\/knowledge-base\/datenloeschung\/\" data-type=\"ht_kb\" data-id=\"6280\">deleted<\/a>.
