In any case, make sure that your most important data is stored on a USB stick or somewhere else. Once the reset process is started, your data will be lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If Windows 10 still starts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
1. switch off the laptop completely.<\/span><\/div>
Make sure it is actually switched off (press the start button for 5\u201310 seconds).<\/div><\/div><\/div>
2. switch the laptop on and off again<\/span><\/div>
Switch on the laptop. As soon as the Windows loading screen appears, press and hold the power button. The laptop will switch off again. Repeat this process until a message saying \u00abRecovery mode\u00bb appears (this should happen after 2\u20133 attempts).
If that doesn't work: Start your PC, wait until you reach the login screen, press the \u00abShift\u00bb key and select \u00abRestart\u00bb. This will also launch Recovery Mode.<\/div><\/div><\/div>
3. reset the PC<\/span><\/div>
You should now see a blue screen. This is Recovery Mode. Go to \u00abAdvanced options\u00bb and select \u00abReset this PC\u00bb (or similar). From here, you can reset your laptop whilst keeping your data, or choose to delete it as well.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
