This guide shows the way with Windows 10, but it's very similar for Windows 11 \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-danger\">\ud83d\ude25 <strong>ATTENTION: Data loss<\/strong>!<br><br>In any case, make sure that your most important data is stored on a USB stick or somewhere else. Once the reset process is started, your data will be lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If Windows 10 still starts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-accordion wp-block-hb-accordion\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>1. switch off the laptop completely.<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">If a laptop is in sleep mode, a new installation can be started. However, it is much faster if you shut down the device completely (press the start button for 5-10 seconds).<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>2. switch the laptop on and off again<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Switch on the laptop briefly. Hold the power button again as soon as the Windows logo appears. Repeat this process until a message with \"Repair mode\" appears.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>3. reset the PC<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">A blue screen should now be displayed. Now go to \"Advanced options\" and select \"Reset this PC\" (or similar). Sit back and wait until the installation is complete. Make sure that you have not saved any important data on the stick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-accordion wp-block-hb-accordion\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>1. download the Windows Media Creation Tool<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">On your other PC, search the internet for \u00abMedia Creation Tool Windows 10\u00bb. Make sure that you are on a Microsoft website and only download it there.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>2. follow the instructions<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">You will now be asked to insert a USB stick. All further instructions will be displayed on the screen.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>3. start broken laptop with USB stick<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Everything should now be ready for a new installation. If you encounter problems or have questions, you will quickly find answers on the Internet.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\"><strong>\ud83e\udd37 Can't you start with the stick? <\/strong><br><br>If the USB stick is not displayed afterwards, you may have had to adjust the settings in the BIOS\/UEFI.
